What lock does a customer need?
An ART2 approved lock. If the bike has a ring lock then they must use it in combination with an accompanying steel cable or chain (minimum 5.5mm diameter) of the same brand and which is also ART2 approved. If the bicycle is left unattended, it should always be locked and secured to a fixed attachment point with the appropriate steel cable or chain.
Please note that you should always note the key number on the pickup document. Indeed, in case of theft of the bike, the customer must provide us with a photo of the 2 keys with visible key number and that key number must match the one on the pickup document.
