You can contact us for privacy-related matters via firstname.lastname@example.org
What information do we collect about you?
The exact information we keep on our website depends on what exactly you are using
do on our website.
- If you are not a customer with us, and therefore only visit the public part of the site, we only keep the following information about you: the pages you visit, your IP address and an identification of your browser and computer type. For example: a Telenet customer visited the website with Chrome on a mobile device. Another visitor was a customer of KPN Nederland, and used the Firefox browser on Windows 10.
- If your employer is a customer with us, we also keep your contact, billing and (in case of an order) delivery details. Typically, we receive this information by the HR department of your employer, or you enter it yourself in the various input screens of our website.
Who collects this information about you?
We do, Team Cyclis NV. Our registered office is at 34 Nieuwe Dijk, 3920 Lommel. Our company number is 0544.515.042. The easiest way to reach us for privacy-related matters is by e-mail at email@example.com
How do we collect this information?
We typically receive your professional contact details from your employer when he or she customer becomes a customer of us. You provide us with information for creating the account and therefore that information comes directly from you. By completing those forms, you give permission collecting that information. The information about which browser and which type of device you use, as well as the “cookies” are sent by your browser. We get the IP address from your computer itself.
Why do we collect this information and how do we use it?
For the web application itself, we need this information to be able to create your account, to be able to provide you with correct quotations, and to be able to issue correct invoices afterwards. We want to be able to contact our customers if there is something wrong with their account or to provide support.
In addition, we use certain information (browser, unique identification, number of times a web page is visited) to improve our site or to correctly analyze any problems.
The cookies serve to provide the functionality of the site, such as staying logged in or your language choice. The information about your page visits helps us on the one hand to improve the site, and on the other hand to be able to analyze and solve possible problems with the web application.
How long do we keep information about you?
We do not store data longer than necessary. This is 5 years for website visitors. We keep the customer’s account information for as long as the law requires us to do so.
Who do we share this information with?
We use most of the information ourselves and do not share it with anyone. The visitor analysis on the public website is done by an external company. They receive your IP address, the identification that your browser sends, an identification cookie and the pages you visit on our site.
What rights do I have?
The GDPR focuses on you as an individual and gives you a number of rights. For example, you have the right to inspect the data we keep about you and you may correct incorrect data or have it corrected. In addition, you can ask us to delete data, and you may object to the transfer of your data to third parties. If you wish to exercise one of these rights, it is best to contact us by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or in writing.
It is true that your right to be forgotten does not override certain legal or contractual obligations. For example, we must be able to contact our customers at any time, and we must comply with Belgian accounting obligations. If you believe that your rights have been violated, you can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For Belgium this is the Privacy Commission.
The processor of the visitor analysis information is located in the USA and is subject to the Privacy Shield regulation.
