What do I need when riding a speed bike?
A speed bike must always have a license plate before entering the track.
You must also always have the COC (certificate of conformity) and the registration certificate Part I with you when riding a bicycle, these are the on-board documents. The Part II registration certificate is kept by Cyclis.
Notice:
- You should get the on-board documents along with the bike from the bike dealer.
- You must hold a valid final driver’s license as speed bikes reach speeds of up to 45km/h. A driving license type B (car) or type AM (moped) is sufficient.
- You are required to wear a bicycle helmet.
- You must follow the traffic rules that apply to speed bikes. Any traffic fines will arrive at Cyclis and we will deliver them to you.
- If board documents are lost, Cyclis will charge you an administrative fee.
