Frequently asked questions
Which lock is required?
An ART certified lock of category 2 or higher.
Please note:
- It’s compulsory to include the ART lock on the bike quote.
- You must inform us of any changes related to the key number (e.g. if you buy a new lock and the key number changes).
- If the bike is left unattended, it must always be locked and secured to a fixed attachment point using the ART lock.
Which accessories are allowed?
All accessories are allowed, except: bike trainers, bike carriers, shoes, and clothing. An exception is made for clothing intended for safe commuting (e.g. hi-vis vest or rain trousers).
For sportier models, make sure to include pedals and lights, as these are not standard options.
For safety reasons, we also recommend including a helmet.
Please note: the employer may apply restrictions, such as allowing only essential accessories.
What should be included in the quote ?
- Accessories: clearly listed and itemised (price per item)
- At least one ART2 chain lock (or higher): required on every quote
- Delivery fee: optional, but must be included on the quote to be invoiced later
And of course, the bike itself 😉 Heads-up: always include the catalogue price.
Discounts? Only allowed in exceptional cases, e.g. for end-of-line models. In that case, please contact us first via quote@cyclis.be before preparing the quote.
May I service or repair a bike if it was not purchased in my shop?
Yes, this is perfectly possible provided you already belong to our dealer network. Be sure to ask about the client’s maintenance budget in advance.
