What should I do if my bicycle is stolen?
Please notify us immediately. You can do so through My.Cyclis, at insurance@cyclis.be or by phone at +32 11 730 115 – option 2.
Provide us with a PV or certificate of theft. Make sure your bike’s frame number is listed on it. Also provide us with a photo of the two keys of your ART2 lock with a visible key number, or of the two keys together with the key card showing the number.
Notice:
- The key number in the photo must match the key number on the pickup document you signed with the bike dealer at the time you went to pick up the bike. Therefore, if your key number changes, you should inform us immediately.
- In case of theft of the bicycle including the 2 keys, there is no insurance coverage.
- If you only have 1 key there is no insurance coverage.
There is always a fixed exemption of €25 that we deduct from your remaining maintenance budget or bill to you if you don’t have a maintenance budget (anymore).
